In 1972 Steve & Eloise Van Eck founded Van Eck Diesel Services. Steve traveled to customer locations and provided repair services to customers equipment on site. With the growth of the business it began to grow to the point he needed more help therefore adding more people. At this point the need arose for a facility to perform larger repairs and built the building in 1978.

In 1983, Steve added additional service bays, and in 1988 he added more service bays, bringing the building to it's current size. With the addition of more space, Van Eck was able to provide full truck service as well as major engine work with two shifts operating.

Building and flying aircraft was a favorite hobby of Steve's, this is the reason behind the airplane in Van Eck Diesel's logo.

In 1990, Steve passed away and Eloise continued on with the business until 1994 when it was purchased by the current owners.
Steve and Eloise were commited to providing excellent service and quality workmanship, this legacy continues to be our mission to this day.
